Tile vibrators are essential for installing large-format porcelain tiles and stone tiles — any tile larger than 24x24" requires vibration during setting to ensure full mortar contact and eliminate the air pockets that cause hollow spots and eventual tile failure. Without a vibrator, large tiles set by mallet alone will have unacceptable coverage. 

Electric tile vibrators transmit controlled vibration through the tile surface into the mortar bed, collapsing air pockets and ensuring the mortar fully contacts the tile back. Compatible with 1.5" to 2" thick tile panels, standard 12x12" through 48x48"+ large format tiles, and stone panels up to the vibrator's rated weight.
