Vertical Inline Polishing Wheels for Stone Edge Work | Pro Tool Haus

Vertical inline wheels are diamond abrasive wheels mounted in a vertical orientation on inline polishing machines, radial arm machines, and CNC edge profiling systems used in stone fabrication shops. The vertical inline configuration allows the wheel to work the edge of a stone slab progressively — roughing, shaping, and polishing the edge profile through a sequence of wheels mounted in-line on the same machine pass. 

Each wheel in a vertical inline sequence is a different grit, progressing from coarse stock removal through medium shaping to fine polish. The number of wheels and grit sequence depends on the edge profile being produced and the stone type — granite typically requires more steps than marble due to its hardness. Wheels are available individually for replacing worn steps in an existing sequence or in complete sets for a full polishing line.
