Proxxon MICROMOT hand-held power tools are precision compact tools designed for fine work that standard-size power tools are too large or too powerful to perform reliably. The MICROMOT system covers rotary tools (IBS/E and LBS/E), long-neck angle grinders (LHW/A and LHW/E) for detail polishing and edge work, jigsaws (STS/E), cut-off tools, mini belt sanders, and the full range of system attachments that convert one base tool into multiple specialized configurations.

Available in three power systems: 115V corded for sustained bench work, 12V low-voltage for controlled use with the transformer power supply, and cordless lithium-ion for maximum flexibility on site and in the shop. The 12V and cordless systems share a common accessory platform — chucks, attachments, and accessories work across the system regardless of which power source is being used.

The LHW/A and LHW/E long-neck angle grinders are particularly relevant to stone and tile professionals — their compact head and extended neck geometry allow polishing and grinding in the tight spaces that standard 4.5" angle grinders cannot access.
