Food-safe color-enhancing sealer for quartz, engineered stone, and natural stone countertops. Tenax Ager FS (formerly Quartz Toner Plus) is a solvent-based color enhancer and impregnating sealer certified for food contact under European regulation 90/128 ECC — making it the right choice for kitchen countertops and food preparation surfaces where food safety compliance is required. It deepens and enriches the natural color of quartz and engineered stone, conceals minor surface scratches, and protects against oil and water-based stains without yellowing in sunlight.

Particularly effective for matching honed or sawn edges to the polished top surface of quartz slabs. Suitable for polished, flamed, rough, sanded, honed, and brushed finishes. Indoor and outdoor use. 2-year shelf life. Lower VOC formula.

Compatible Materials

How to Apply

1. Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry
2. Apply using a brush, cloth, sponge, or spray gun
3. Allow the material to absorb as much product as possible
4. After a few seconds, buff the surface with a clean cloth to prevent glossy or sticky residue
5. Repeat after 10–15 minutes if needed for denser stone
6. For floor applications, do not walk on the treated surface for 24 hours
7. Test on a small hidden area before first use — color enhancement is permanent

Note: Ager FS does not prevent etching on marble. Acidic substances (wine, citrus, tomato, coffee) will etch marble regardless of sealer. For etching issues, use Tenax TeEtch Etch Remover.
