Description

Flexible carbon steel wire wheel brushes for aggressive edge cleaning, deburring, rust removal, and finishing — the largest-diameter option in the Proxxon carbon steel brush family. At 7/8" diameter, the wheel profile is ideal for cleaning along edges, grooves, weld seams, and narrow channels where cup or flat brushes can't reach effectively. The flexibility of the carbon steel wire makes these brushes highly conformable, adapting to contoured and irregular shapes. Comes in a 5-pack for extended use.

Specifications:

  • Brush diameter: 7/8" (approx. 22mm)
  • Style: wheel brush
  • Shank diameter: 2.35mm (3/32") — fits standard Micromot collets
  • Bristle material: carbon steel wire (flexible)
  • Quantity: 5 brushes per pack

Ideal for:

  • Edge cleaning and deburring along grooves and channels
  • Rust removal from weld seams and edges
  • Polishing and matting surfaces
  • Paint and lacquer removal
  • Cleaning electrical components
  • Working on contoured and irregular shapes

Suitable materials: metal, non-ferrous metals, precious metals, castings, plastics, semi-precious stones, stone, and wood.

Carbon steel vs. brass — which wheel brush do you need?

  • Carbon steel wheel brush (this brush) — more aggressive, better for rust removal, paint stripping, and heavy deburring along edges
  • Brass Wheel Brushes 7/8" — gentler, acid resistant and electrically neutral — safe for electronics and precious metals
