Linear sanding where rotary tools can't reach. The Proxxon PS 13 Pensander uses a straight back-and-forth linear sanding motion — unlike rotary or orbital sanders — making it ideal for flat surfaces, slots, grooves, and tight corners where a rotating head would leave curved scratch patterns or simply not fit. At 8,000 strokes per minute with a 2.5mm stroke, it removes material efficiently while leaving a consistent, grain-aligned scratch pattern. Eight sanding attachments (4 straight, 4 angled) and 3 sheets of pre-profiled adhesive sanding pads are included.

Why Linear Sanding?
Rotary and orbital sanders leave curved or swirling scratch patterns that are visible in fine finishes and can't reach into corners or slots. The PS 13's linear motion:
- Reaches into slots and grooves where a rotating head would contact only one side
- Works into tight corners with the angled attachments
- Leaves a consistent grain-aligned scratch pattern — easier to sand out with the next grit and invisible in the final finish
- Produces no swirl marks on flat surfaces

Frequently Asked Questions
Is an AC adapter included?
No — the PS 13 requires a 12–18V DC adapter of at least 1.0A, sold separately. The NG 2/S or NG 5/E are both compatible.
What is the stroke length?
3/32" (2.5mm) — the distance the sanding attachment travels in each direction. This short stroke keeps the tool compact and controllable for fine work.
Can I use custom sanding pads?
The included pre-profiled adhesive sanding pads are designed for the PS 13 attachments. Standard adhesive-backed sanding sheets can also be cut to fit the attachment profiles.
