The Proxxon Power Carver MSG (No. 38644) is a precision reciprocating carving tool built for detailed woodwork, furniture restoration, and fine art applications. Unlike rotary tools, the MSG's back-and-forth knife action gives you clean, controlled cuts with minimal tear-out — ideal for relief carving, chip carving, and intricate surface work.
Three high-grade Japanese knife inserts are included, covering a range of carving profiles straight out of the box. The compact 230mm body and 1.5 lb weight make it easy to maneuver for extended carving sessions.
