The Proxxon Replacement HSS Blades (No. 27042) are factory-specification replacement cutters for the Proxxon Micro Planer DH 40. Made from high-speed steel (HSS) and ground to precise tolerances, they restore the DH 40's cutting performance when blades become dull or chipped from extended use. Sold as a 2-pack so you always have a spare on hand.
Keeping fresh blades in your planer is the single most effective way to maintain surface quality and reduce tear-out — a dull blade requires more pressure and produces a rougher finish regardless of feed rate or depth of cut.
