The Proxxon Sanding Belts for BS/E (No. 28922) are 80-grit replacement belts for the Proxxon Belt Sander BS/E (No. 38536). Made from high-quality aluminum oxide on a tough, woven lightweight cloth backing, they deliver aggressive stock removal on metal, non-ferrous metals, wood, and plastics. The 80 grit is the coarsest in the BS/E belt range — ideal for initial shaping, rust removal, and heavy material removal before stepping up to finer grits. Sold as a 5-pack.

Work through the grits progressively for the best surface finish:
- 80 Grit / No. 28922 (this belt) — aluminum oxide, coarse; initial shaping and heavy stock removal
- 120 Grit — 5-Pack — aluminum oxide, medium; blending and intermediate sanding
- 180 Grit — 5-Pack — aluminum oxide, fine; finishing and pre-polish prep
- Silicon Carbide 180 Grit — 5-Pack — for harder materials and wet sanding applications
