The Proxxon Sanding Belts for BS/E (No. 28928) are 240-grit replacement belts for the Proxxon Belt Sander BS/E (No. 38536). Made from high-quality aluminum oxide on a tough, woven lightweight cloth backing, they deliver fine finishing and pre-polish surface preparation on metal, non-ferrous metals, wood, and plastics. The 240 grit is the finest aluminum oxide option in the BS/E belt range — use it as the final sanding step before polishing or applying a finish. Sold as a 5-pack.

Work through the grits progressively for the best surface finish:
- 80 Grit / No. 28922 — aluminum oxide, coarse; initial shaping and heavy stock removal
- 120 Grit — 5-Pack — aluminum oxide, medium; blending and intermediate sanding
- 150 Grit / No. 28924 — aluminum oxide, medium-fine; surface smoothing and pre-finish prep
- 180 Grit — 5-Pack — aluminum oxide, fine; finishing and pre-polish prep
- 240 Grit / No. 28928 (this belt) — aluminum oxide, finest; final sanding before polishing or applying a finish
- Silicon Carbide 180 Grit — 5-Pack — for harder materials and wet sanding
