Description
The Proxxon Sanding Drum with Carrier (No. 28980) is a drum sanding attachment for Proxxon Micromot rotary tools. The rubber drum carrier mounts via its 3mm shank into any Micromot collet or keyless chuck, and the sanding band slips over the drum and locks in place under rotation. Ten 150-grit bands are included to get you started.
The 150-grit bands are suited for intermediate finishing — use this drum after initial shaping with the 120-grit drum (No. 28978) to smooth surfaces and blend contours before final finishing. The drum profile excels at inside curves, contoured surfaces, slots, and edges that flat pads and belt sanders can't reach.
