Description
The Proxxon Sanding Drum with Carrier (No. 28978) is a drum sanding attachment for Proxxon Micromot rotary tools. The rubber drum carrier mounts via its 3mm shank into any Micromot collet or keyless chuck, and the sanding band slips over the drum and locks in place under rotation. Ten 120-grit bands are included to get you started.
The drum profile excels at sanding inside curves, contoured surfaces, slots, and edges that flat pads and belt sanders can't reach. Made from tough, consistent abrasive compound, the 120-grit bands handle stock removal, rust removal, and shaping across a wide range of materials.
