Description
The Proxxon Silicon Carbide Grinding Wheels (No. 28304) are a 10-pack of ×22mm (7/8") rotary grinding wheels for Proxxon Micromot tools, mounted on a 2.35mm mandrel shank. Silicon carbide abrasive is harder than aluminum oxide, making these wheels the right choice for grinding and sharpening hard materials — cast iron, unhardened steels, non-ferrous metals, hard metal alloys, welded joints, rivets, and rust removal — where softer abrasives would wear too quickly.
Suitable for both free-hand grinding with a handheld Micromot tool and stationary grinding when the tool is mounted in a stand or clamp.
