Description
The Proxxon Silicon Carbide Mounted Points (No. 28270) are a 2-piece set of rotary grinding points for Proxxon Micromot tools, including one flame profile and one taper profile, both on 2.35mm shanks. Silicon carbide abrasive with fine, consistent grit particles is the correct choice for engraving and frosting glass, ceramics, porcelain, and stone — materials that require a harder abrasive than aluminum oxide to cut cleanly without glazing.
Also suitable for grinding cast steel, cast iron, and other hard steels where silicon carbide's hardness advantage over aluminum oxide delivers faster material removal and longer wheel life.
