Description
The Proxxon Spiral Scroll Saw Blades (No. 28747) are a 12-pack of plain-end (pinless) spiral blades for scroll saws. Unlike conventional scroll saw blades that only cut on the forward stroke in one direction, spiral blades have teeth running all the way around the blade — allowing cuts in any direction without rotating the workpiece. This is a significant advantage when working with large or awkward workpieces that are difficult to maneuver.
The plain-end (no pin) format allows the blade to be threaded through a 1.5mm (1/16") pilot hole for interior cutouts — essential for fretwork, inlay work, and any cut that starts inside the workpiece boundary.
