Description
The Proxxon Stainless Steel Wire Cup Brushes (No. 28957) are a 2-pack of rotary stainless steel cup brushes for Proxxon Micromot tools, on 2.35mm shanks. The cup profile presents the wire bristles face-on to the workpiece — ideal for cleaning flat surfaces, weld seam faces, and end-grain areas where a cylindrical brush would only contact the edge. Stainless steel bristles are essential for working on stainless steel: carbon steel bristles embed iron particles in the surface, causing rust contamination that defeats the purpose of using stainless steel in the first place.
Also suitable for cleaning and brushing aluminium and non-ferrous heavy metals where contamination from carbon steel bristles is a concern.
