The Proxxon Super Cut Scroll Saw Blades (No. 28114) are a 12-pack of 47 TPI plain-end (no pin) scroll saw blades for cutting mild steel, PERTINAX (phenolic resin board), and other hard materials. Made from high-quality Super Cut steel for extended use and prolonged cutting capacity. At 47 TPI, these are the very finest Super Cut blades available — producing the absolute smoothest cut surface in hard materials with minimal burr, at the cost of slower cutting speed vs. the 35 TPI (No. 28112) and 40 TPI (No. 28113) siblings.
The plain-end (no pin) format allows the blade to be threaded through a pilot hole for interior cutouts. Choose 47 TPI when surface finish is critical and cutting speed is secondary.
