Weha 4" Thin Rigid Back Up Pad

The Weha Thin Rigid Back Up Pad is engineered for precision polishing in tight spaces where standard backers cannot reach. At only 3/16" thick, this ultra-thin rigid backer is an excellent choice for getting into 90° corners, tight seams, bevels, and flat edge work with maximum control.

Built from rugged phenolic resin — not brittle bakelite plastic — this backer pad is purpose-built to withstand tough shop conditions without cracking or breaking if dropped. The rigid construction supplies a perfectly flat polishing surface for seam cleanup, surface polishing, and bevel refinement.

The top-grade hook & loop face is securely bonded for both wet and dry applications, resisting heat buildup and separation. A reinforced 5/8-11 brass thread insert maintains durable durability without the thread damage common in lower-grade aluminum backers.
