Description
The Weha Blitz Cluster Cup Wheel is built for aggressive stock removal where speed matters. The cluster segment design — raised diamond clusters separated by open gullets — cuts faster than solid-face cup wheels by maximizing diamond exposure and clearing debris efficiently. Available in 4" and 5" diameters at 50/60 grit, the Blitz handles the heavy work: fiberglass mesh removal, epoxy and resin removal, backing removal, edge shaping, and surface preparation on granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone. Runs wet or dry.
What the Cluster Design Does
Standard cup wheels grind with a continuous diamond face. The Blitz uses raised cluster segments with open channels between them — this exposes more diamond per pass, reduces heat buildup, and clears slurry faster. The result is more aggressive material removal with less wheel loading and longer tool life compared to solid-face alternatives.
