Description
Heavy-cut texturing for the hardest materials in fabrication. Tenax Aggressive Diamond Brushes are engineered specifically for extremely dense granite and engineered stone — materials that standard silicon carbide brushes cannot effectively cut. Built with high bristle density and embedded diamond abrasive filaments, these brushes break factory polish, open the surface, and create deep textured finishes on quartz, ultra-compact surfaces, and hard granite. Available in Frankfurt, 14cm, 4" Snail Lock, and 5" Snail Lock configurations with multiple grit options for full texture progression.
Available Configurations
- Frankfurt — for automatic polishing lines; grits 24–320
- 14cm — for automatic polishing lines; grits 24–400
- 4" Snail Lock — for manual machines and angle grinders; grits 24–320
- 5" Snail Lock — for manual machines and angle grinders; grits 36–60
Compatible Materials
- Extremely dense granite
- Engineered stone and quartz surfaces
- Ultra-compact materials (Dekton, Neolith, and similar)
- Hard natural stone where standard SiC brushes underperform
Performance Features
- Diamond abrasive filaments — cuts dense materials that silicon carbide brushes cannot effectively texture
- High bristle density — consistent surface contact for uniform finish progression
- Deeper texture than Filiflex or Airflex — creates more pronounced surface structure for leathered and antique finishes
- Full grit progression — lower grits for heavy stock removal; higher grits refine texture while maintaining tactile finish
- Automatic & manual compatible — Frankfurt and 14cm for production lines; Snail Lock for manual machines
- Uniform wear — predictable finish progression across high-volume fabrication use
Application
Used in sequence to progressively open and texture engineered and hard granite surfaces. The preferred choice for producing leathered, antique, or heavy textured finishes where maximum surface depth is desired and standard brushes fall short.
Works Well With
- Tenax Silicon Carbide Antique Finish Brushes — SiC alternative for softer natural stone; use diamond brushes for dense materials where SiC underperforms
- Tenax Filiflex & Airflex Stone Texturing Brushes — for lighter texturing and finishing passes after aggressive diamond brush opening
- Tenax Granite Polishing Powder — restore polish on granite surfaces before or after texturing
- Tenax Proseal Premium Stone Sealer — seal textured stone after finishing to protect the open surface from staining
