Description
Ultra-premium impregnating protection for natural and engineered stone. Tenax Proseal penetrates deep into stone to protect against oil and water-based stains while maintaining the stone's natural color, finish, and breathability. No surface film — the stone looks exactly as it should, just protected. Works on polished, honed, brushed, and matte finishes, indoors and outdoors, with protection lasting up to 4–5 years on areas not under heavy wear.
Compatible Materials
- Granite, marble, quartzite, onyx
- Limestone, travertine, sandstone, slate
- Engineered stone and quartz
- Concrete and terrazzo
Key Features
- Up to 5-year protection — on areas not under heavy wear when applied correctly
- Oil & water stain resistance — repels coffee, wine, oil, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, soda, and more
- No surface film — stone breathes naturally; no glossy or plastic appearance
- All finishes — polished, honed, brushed, and matte
- Indoor & outdoor — suitable for showers, patios, pool copings, outdoor bars, and pavers
- Also works on grout — causes liquids to bead up like a waxed surface
- High-porosity compatible — effective on limestone, travertine, sandstone, and other absorbent stones
Size Guide
- 250ml — covers approx. 54–80 sq ft; ideal for small projects and sample applications
- 1 Quart — covers approx. 215–323 sq ft; standard size for residential countertops and tile
- 5 Liter — high-volume shop and contractor size
- 55 Liter — bulk drum for production fabrication shops
- 200 Liter — commercial bulk for large-scale operations
How to Apply
- Test on an inconspicuous area before first use
- Clean the stone thoroughly with an approved stone cleaner and dry completely
- Apply Proseal evenly using a brush, sponge, cloth, or spray gun until the surface no longer absorbs the product
- Buff with a clean cloth 4–5 minutes after application to remove excess and avoid glossy or sticky films
- Repeat the application after 10–15 minutes
- Allow 24 hours to dry and achieve full protection — do not walk on treated floors during this time
Coverage: approx. 215–323 sq ft per liter, depending on stone porosity. Apply between 50°F–95°F; ideal at 68°F–77°F.
Important Notes
- Does not prevent etching on marble — acidic substances (wine, citrus, tomato, coffee) will etch marble regardless of sealer; Proseal protects against staining only
- Shelf life: minimum 1 year stored between 65°F–77°F, away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight
Works Well With
