Skudo Stone Sealer

Clear, non-color-enhancing sealer for difficult-to-seal and compact stone. Tenax Skudo is a water-based impregnating sealer engineered for dense, compact, and low-porosity natural stone — materials that standard sealers struggle to penetrate. Where other sealers bead on the surface without absorbing, Skudo’s high-penetration formula drives deep into the stone to deliver lasting protection against water and oil-based stains without altering the natural appearance or color of the stone.

• Skudo (this product) — clear, non-color-enhancing; use when you want to seal without changing the stone’s appearance; particularly effective on dense and compact stone
• Ager — color-enhancing; use when you want to deepen and enrich the stone’s color while sealing; solvent-based for broader stone compatibility
• Ager FS — color-enhancing, food-safe; for quartz and engineered stone countertops requiring food contact compliance

How to Apply

1. Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust, oils, and contaminants
2. Apply using a brush, cloth, sponge, or spray gun
3. Allow the stone to absorb the product
4. Buff off any excess with a clean cloth before it dries to avoid surface residue
5. For floor applications, do not walk on the treated surface for 24 hours
6. Test on a small hidden area before first use

Note: Skudo does not prevent etching on marble. Acidic substances (wine, citrus, tomato, coffee) will etch marble regardless of sealer. For etching issues, use Tenax TeEtch Etch Remover.
