Description

The go-to mastic adhesive for professional stone repair. Tenax Colored Knife Grade Polyester is a high-quality polyester mastic formulated for repairing, rebuilding, bonding, and filling natural and engineered stone — marble, granite, travertine, limestone, and engineered quartz. The knife-grade consistency holds its shape on vertical and horizontal surfaces without sagging, and cures to a glossy, polishable finish that blends seamlessly with the surrounding stone.

Available in White and Buff to match the most common stone tones, in quart and gallon sizes. Additional custom colors available upon special request.

Key Features

  • Knife-grade consistency — holds shape on vertical and horizontal surfaces; no sagging or dripping
  • Polishable cure — cures glossy and can be ground flush and polished to match surrounding stone
  • White & Buff colorways — covers the most common stone tones; custom colors available on request
  • Broad stone compatibility — marble, granite, travertine, limestone, engineered quartz, and more
  • Quart & gallon sizes — for occasional repairs or high-volume shop use
  • Interior use only — not suitable for temperatures below 32°F

Color Selection Guide

  • White — Carrara and Calacatta marble, white and light gray quartz, bright porcelain
  • Buff — beige and cream travertine, warm-toned limestone, honey onyx, sandstone

How to Use

  • Ensure the surface is dry, clean, and free of dust, oils, and debris
  • If color adjustment is needed, add coloring paste to the resin before mixing with catalyst
  • Mix resin and catalyst at a ratio of 100:2–3 (refer to technical data sheet)
  • Stir thoroughly and apply immediately — pot life is limited once catalyst is introduced
  • Slightly overfill the repair area; grind flush and polish once fully cured
  • Do not return unused mixed product to the original container
  • Seal containers tightly after use; store between 65°F and 77°F away from heat and direct sunlight
