Description

Formulated specifically for quartzite and other dense, low-porosity stone. Tenax Quartzite Sealer Proseal Nano is a solvent-based impregnating sealer that uses nano-technology to penetrate deep into the micro-pores of stone — protecting against stains while maintaining the stone's natural look, finish, and breathability. No surface film, no color change, no hydrocarbon content.

Particularly effective on polished and glossy surfaces with higher absorption rates — including quartzite, which standard water-based sealers often struggle to penetrate adequately.

Compatible Materials

  • Quartzite (primary application)
  • Marble, granite, onyx, slate
  • Limestone, travertine, sandstone
  • Concrete, agglomerates, terracotta

Key Features

  • Nano-technology formula — penetrates stone micro-pores for deep, lasting protection even on dense surfaces
  • Solvent-based — superior penetration on low-porosity and polished stone vs. water-based sealers
  • No hydrocarbons — safer formulation without petroleum-based solvents
  • No surface film — stone breathes naturally; no glossy or plastic appearance
  • High stain protection — effective even on very porous surfaces
  • Indoor & outdoor — countertops, floors, patios, and exterior cladding
  • Coverage: 215–323 sq ft per liter depending on stone porosity

How to Apply

  1. Test on an inconspicuous area or sample before first use
  2. Clean the stone thoroughly and dry completely
  3. Apply Proseal Nano evenly using a brush, sponge, cloth, or low-pressure sprayer
  4. Remove excess sealer 4–5 minutes after application to avoid sticky buildup
  5. Repeat application 10–15 minutes after the first coat
  6. Allow 24 hours for full anti-staining properties to develop
  7. Do not walk on treated floors for 24 hours

Proseal vs. Proseal Nano — Which Do You Need?

  • Proseal Premium — water-based impregnating sealer; ideal for granite, marble, travertine, and most natural stone
  • Proseal Nano (this product) — solvent-based nano-technology sealer; ideal for quartzite, dense stone, and polished surfaces where water-based sealers underperform
