The included HSS cobalt tool measures 12×3×85mm — the cobalt content increases heat resistance and hardness compared to standard HSS, extending tool life during the demanding parting operation. Replacement tools are available separately.

HSS cobalt (HSS-Co) contains 5–8% cobalt, which increases the tool's hot hardness and wear resistance compared to standard HSS — allowing it to maintain a sharp edge longer under the heat generated during parting operations.
