Description

Professional-grade poultice stain removal for natural and engineered stone. Tenax TeClean Stain Remover Poultice Powder uses a proven stain reversal technique — a blend of surfactants and diatomaceous earth that draws oil, grease, wine, coffee, tea, and other organic stains up and out of porous stone. No harsh scrubbing, no acids, no surface damage.

Also dealing with blue or green cyanoacrylate bloom from chip repair adhesives? TeClean is bundled with TeBlossom in the TeBlossom & TeClean Kit for complete stain coverage. Or if you only need bloom removal, see the TeBlossom Bloom Remover Kit.

Stains TeClean Removes

  • Cooking oil and grease
  • Wine, coffee, and tea
  • Other organic and food-based stains

Compatible Surfaces

  • Natural stone — granite, marble, travertine, limestone, terrazzo, slate
  • Masonry — concrete, brick, sanded grout
  • Tile — porcelain and ceramic

Key Features

  • Poultice action — draws organic stains out from within porous stone using stain reversal chemistry
  • Stone-safe formula — surfactants and diatomaceous earth; no harsh acids or solvents
  • Multi-surface — safe for granite, marble, travertine, limestone, concrete, brick, and grout
  • No special equipment — mix, apply, cover, wait, remove
  • Professional grade — trusted by stone fabricators, restoration specialists, and tile installers
  • 8 oz container — treats multiple stain areas per container

How to Use

  1. Mix TeClean powder with water to a toothpaste-like consistency
  2. Apply the poultice directly over the stained area
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and puncture several small holes with a toothpick to allow slow drying
  4. Leave in place for 24–48 hours until fully dried
  5. Remove the dried poultice — the stain will be drawn out with it
  6. Rinse the surface clean and allow to dry completely before inspecting
  7. Repeat if stain remains; deep-set stains may require multiple treatments

Important: Calcium-based stones (marble, travertine, limestone) may etch during treatment and require re-polishing after use. See Tenax Marble Polishing Powder for restoration.

Seal After Stain Removal

If your stone stained in the first place, it likely needs to be sealed. Once the stain is fully removed and the stone is completely dry, apply a quality sealer to prevent future staining:
