Description
The Proxxon Tungsten Carbide Burrs (No. 29060) are ball nose profile tungsten carbide (wolfram carbide) rotary burrs for Proxxon Micromot tools, on 3.2mm shanks. Designed specifically for wood processing, model-making, and surface work on glass fiber reinforced synthetics (GRP) — not suitable for metals.
The tungsten carbide cutting edges remove material in a controlled way without force, working cleanly along or against the grain. The ball nose profile is ideal for concave surface shaping, hollowing, and contoured carving where a flat or cylindrical burr would leave flat spots. Operating range: 5,000–20,000 RPM. Highly durable and easy to clean using a Bunsen burner to burn off wood residue.
