Description
The Proxxon Tungsten Carbide Burrs (No. 29062) are cylinder with round head profile tungsten carbide (wolfram carbide) rotary burrs for Proxxon Micromot tools, on 3.2mm shanks. Designed specifically for wood processing, model-making, and surface work on glass fiber reinforced synthetics (GRP) — not suitable for metals.
The cylinder with round head profile combines the flat side-cutting capability of a cylindrical burr with a rounded end — allowing both flat surface work and smooth transitions into concave areas without the sharp corner marks a square-end cylinder would leave. Operating range: 5,000–20,000 RPM. Highly durable and easy to clean using a Bunsen burner to burn off wood residue.
