Description

A true 100% two-part epoxy — not water-based. Tenax Fixtop Knife Grade Epoxy is a professional-grade epoxy adhesive formulated for bonding, laminating, and setting stone, ceramic, porcelain, metal, and composite panels in both interior and exterior applications. Unlike polyester mastics, Fixtop does not dissolve or break down in water, making it the correct choice for shower surrounds, wet areas, and outdoor installations where moisture resistance is non-negotiable.

Easy to mix and spread, Fixtop works best applied in a thin layer and delivers a strong, permanent bond with no issues from expansion or contraction. Available as a quart kit (Part A + B combined), or in gallon and 5-gallon sizes sold as Part A and Part B separately.

Key Features

  • True 100% two-part epoxy — not water-based; permanent, waterproof bond
  • Shower & wet area safe — will not dissolve, delaminate, or break down in water
  • Indoor & outdoor use — no issues with expansion or contraction
  • Broad substrate compatibility — stone, marble, granite, mosaics, porcelain, ceramic, hardwood, cement board, laminate, plywood, metal, honeycomb panels
  • Works best in thin layers — easy to mix and spread; clean tools with acetone or butyl acetate
  • 2-year shelf life — stored between 65°F–77°F, away from heat and direct sunlight
