Description
The Proxxon Tungsten Vanadium Cutters (No. 28724) are a 2-pack of flame profile rotary cutters in tungsten vanadium steel for Proxxon Micromot tools. Available with 2.35mm or 3.0mm shanks. The flame profile — tapered oval, widest at the shoulder and tapering to a point — is the most versatile shaping profile in the TV cutter range, combining the side-cutting capability of a cylinder with the pointed tip access of a taper. Ideal for contoured carving, concave surface shaping, and detail work where the cutter needs to transition between flat and curved surfaces.
Head and shaft are machined from a single blank for maximum stability and concentricity. Tungsten vanadium steel covers a broad material range: hard and soft woods, non-ferrous and precious metals, plastics, and plaster of Paris.
