Description
The Proxxon Tungsten Vanadium Cutters (No. 28725) are a 2-pack of round (ball) profile rotary cutters in tungsten vanadium steel for Proxxon Micromot tools. Available with 2.35mm or 3.0mm shanks. The full ball profile is the specialist choice for concave hollowing, bowl and dish shaping, and undercut work — the spherical cutting surface contacts the workpiece at a consistent radius regardless of the angle of approach, making it ideal for freehand carving of organic concave forms.
Distinct from the cylinder round (cylindrical body with rounded end) and the flame (tapered oval) — the round/ball profile is a complete sphere, providing the most aggressive concave cutting action of the TV range. Head and shaft are machined from a single blank for maximum stability and concentricity.
