Description
Purpose-built for fast, clean rodding channel cuts. The Weha 5" Turbo Rodding Blade is a 5" x 1/4" diamond blade engineered to cut the reinforcement channel for 1/8" fiberglass and metal rods in granite, marble, engineered stone, quartz, quartzite, and concrete countertops. It cuts as fast as a standard turbo blade while producing a precise 1/4" wide square notch — exactly the right width for standard rodding material.
How It Works
The Turbo Rodding Blade is constructed from two Weha EB blades separated by a 1/8" metal spacer, all welded together as a single unit. As the blade cuts, the stone between the two blades is expelled through cooling holes, leaving a clean, square 1/4" groove ready for rod installation. No secondary cleanup pass required.
